SHOULD AULD ACQUAINTANCE BE FORGOT

I can't say 2013 was the best year for us and I can't say is 2014 will be any better because I truthfully just don't know. What I do know is despite all the struggles and change, the blog has always been here with my father and I providing the best content we could for it and you guys have always been there, supporting us the entire way and for that, we here are all very thankful.
I have some ideas and plans for the upcoming year that I'm very excited about and can't wait to share with you when the time comes and I can't wait to see what new things will be put up on this blog and how you guys react to it all. I think that was a run-on sentence but I don't entirely care, I'm in sentimental mode right now.
I hope you guys all make the best of this new year, just as we intend to, because a new year means moving forward into new opportunities and ideas and situations with an open mind and a steady heart.

In other words, Happy New Year.

BREAKING THE SILENCE

Alrighty, so we got this thang I whipped up last night just to have something up here and I've got some updates to share with ya!

First, remember all those alternate dvd/video game covers I did not too long ago? A large majority of them are the wrong dimensions. I've been considering going back and fixing that and actually did that with one of them.

Now that that's out of the way...

Regarding the lack of activity on here, it's not that I haven't been working on stuff, you can see I have, it's that we recently just got a new desk and shelves for the newly cleaned-up work area and things are all kinds of unhooked and scattered. Between work and school, it's quite difficult to find time not only to yourself (you need your sleep, kids) but to do the things you've been meaning to do.

As a result of this, the napkin sketches have been piling up and there are five or six that have yet to be shared with you all. Hopefully, I'll get some time today to hook up the ol' scanner again and rectify this.

And then there's Comic Con!

New York Comic Con is round about a week from now and things are a bit chaotic with the getting ready for it and whatnot (adding to the aforementioned chaos of a new desk and school/work and blah blah blah). We plan on attending NYCC no matter what and thanks to the constant back-and-forth with Mike from CCD (who we will be sharing the booth with along with artist Tommy Lombardozzi), it's shaping up to be something pretty cool.
