SONGS FROM "VELVET MONSTER PAINTINGS"

ComScore

I plan on compiling them all into an album I have tentatively titled "Velvet Monster Paintings". You can visit and "like" the main music page HERE  as well as listening to the player above as you surf the interwebs or do whatever it is you do while listening to music. What I'm aiming for with these instrumentals are little 3 to 4 minute bursts of sound crammed full of the many influences I have from over 30 years as a music enthusiast as well as a musician: John Carpenter, Trent Reznor, Naked City, Goblin, Ministry, Herbie Hancock, Gorillaz, Prince, Tom Waits, Mr. Bungle, Misfits, Justice. Above all I'm aiming to have fun and create sonic nuggets that maybe not everyone will dig, but someone will, and that's as much motive as I need. If you feel moved to let me know what you think, good or bad, then lay it on me. I play all my own instruments except drum loops I make from one hit samples (snare, kick, etc)

My friend Daniel Th1rte3n  says I have "Buckaroo Banzai Syndrome" so I have to at least TRY and live up to a compliment as cool as that.

007: THE CULT OF THE ATOM

My entry for Super Punch's 007 art contest. I imagined a James Bond story that incorporates a high tech cult hell bent on destroying the world.

Best flick I've seen in a while, check it out if you can! This is just fan art, I'm in no way associated with the movie.
